[A series of gifs from Lost Girl showing Dyson and Kenzi running through a forest at night. Dyson pulls his shirt off and tosses it back to Kenzi.
Kenzi: What the hell are you doing?!
Dyson: The trail’s mixed with someone else’s. I can’t follow the scent like this. That thing’s going to have a head like a teapot. You tell her to knock the top off.
Kenzi: Why can’t you tell her?
Dyson: [Dives forward and hits the ground running as a wolf.]
Kenzi: Holy shit balls! That was awesome!]
Hey Micah hey Micah hey Micah!

brawnsgym asked: Is there a specific button to jump to warp? What about impulse? Full stop? These are things 10-year-old me needed to know!
Because I was (and am) a nerd, I made up a sequence of buttons that I would push to go to warp, to enter standard orbit, to move to impulse, and to use the sensors. I figured that it should be cool if the motions were consistent, and it was a fun way to use my imagination.
William Hartnell insisted on doing the same thing consistently when operating various functions on the TARDIS console. He felt strongly that the audience would notice if he pulled the wrong lever to open the TARDIS doors or activate the dematerialization sequence. Contrast that with today’s, whir whiz flick whack dance.
Russia’s anti-gay laws have been a major focus in the lead-up to the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, and during his address at today’s opening ceremony IOC president Thomas Bach made a strong statement against “any form of discrimination” and in favor of tolerance. Viewers worldwide heard the statement; NBC viewers in the U.S. did not, because the network edited it out.
What the fuck Kool-Aid are those fuckers at NBC drinking? Does it taste like Vladimir Putin’s Soviet-era piss?
Some days I really feel like pushing someone into a lake.
my interpretation of Elsa’s “Let it go”
I follow Shaenon Garrity’s comics fairly religiously, but it was still Tumblr that alerted me to the existence of this (good, if sad) one. Shaenon’s website has more of her comics listed (though not this one even though the original file is on the site). And I have to mention that she is the creator of Monster of the Week and Skin Horse which I have plugged before.
I’d dropped Shaenon a line asking if she’d mind if I cut up the comic I previously blogged to make it more tumblr friendly, but I see I’m behind the curve here. Hurrah, etc.
